Detroit 2026 Elections

Your Voice.

Your Vote.

Your Way.

Detroit voters have more options to vote than ever. Choose how you vote, whether it’s by mail, early in person, or on Election Day. Make your plan, your way, today.

Before you make your plan, check your voter registration. You can register or update your registration from now until Election Day.

Choose How You Want to Vote

You have new options when it comes to voting in Detroit.

Whether you want to vote from home, skip the line and vote early, or vote at the polls on Election Day, the choice is yours! Make your voting plan today so you can choose the options that work best for you.

Request an absentee ballot and vote from home at your own pace. Drop it in a secure ballot drop box or mail it back.

Vote at a Detroit Early Vote Center and skip the lines. You’ll feed your ballot into a vote tabulator just like you would on Election Day.

Head to your assigned polling places on Election Day between 7 am to 8 pm to cast your ballot.
